Spring 2016
LAW788  A  STREET LAW II

Course Description
This is the second semester of a full year course.

Miami STREET LAW is a two semester program in which law students teach law in local high schools in Miami Dade County each week. In this legal education outreach, "Street Lawyers" use a variety of creative formats as well as mock oral arguments and mock trials. Some coach high school mock trial teams for state wide competition. Street Lawyers conduct a litigation based spring Law camp for teenagers from several high schools. The high school students benefit from legal education and the law students learn the law better through teaching.
