Spring 2016
LAW385  R  EUROPEAN UNION LAW

Course Description
The core of the law of the EU deals with the relations between the EU institutions and between the institutions and the Member States. And the law also has implications for the rights of individual EU citizens. In some ways the EU is like a federal system, but the rules are different from the rules in the US Constitution. In other ways, as an example of regional integration the EU is like a smaller example of the global trading system. Much of the EU’s law deals with economic regulation.
