Course Description
This course focuses generally on skills and techniques in negotiation situations. It includes an intensive study of the theories and tactics of effective lawyer negotiation. The principles of the assessment, persuasive, and exchange states of adversarial and problem solving bargaining are explored. Students engage in simple and complex lawyer negotiation situations.

Short Course Attendance Policy
Due to the small number of meetings, attendance to all meetings/classes for short courses is mandatory. Students who miss more than one class session (80 minutes) of a 1-credit short course are subject to administrative withdrawal and will have a W for the course on their transcripts.
