Course Description
Most recent developments in the markets for legal services will be discussed, such as, but not limited to, disruptive technologies, changes in demand of clients, or societal developments with impact on law firm management. Students will learn how law firm management should cope with these phenomena. They will discuss all relevant aspects of operating a law firm in times of major changes in the legal services market.

Course contents will include trend analysis, strategy development, marketing, business model design, leadership and human resources management, billing and financial controlling.

Short Course Attendance Policy
Due to the small number of meetings, attendance to all meetings/classes for short courses is mandatory. Students who miss more than one class session (80 minute) of a 1-credit short course are subject to administrative withdrawal and will have a W for the course on their transcripts.
