Course Description
This course will be an advanced and practical study of the alternatives to, and opportunities for, the prevention of litigation. The course will examine the emerging field of designing dispute resolution systems within many legal contexts. Students will be provided with a practical framework and other advanced ADR concepts in specific situations with role plays and guest speakers. In addition, students will identify, analyze and design, or re-design a conflict resolution system of the student's choosing and present findings for peer critique.
