Course Description
This seminar is intended for students who have already studied international arbitration and are ready to confront the challenge of writing a paper of publishable quality. The students enrolled in the LLM international arbitration program may take the seminar as of right. All others, up to a total limit of 12, must apply and be individually admitted, on the basis of either (a) a specific proposal of a subject or (b) an academic record which suggests the ability to tackle a subject developed in consultation with Prof. Paulsson.

Method of Evaluation: The evaluation will be based on three elements: the quality of the initial draft, the degree of improvement of the draft in response to comments, and constructive engagement with other students' drafts in the classroom
