Course Description
This course focuses on the individual rights guaranteed by the First Amendment of the United States Constitution. In particular, we will cover free speech and the press in the first half of the course, and both religion clauses (free exercise and establishment) in the second half. When applicable, the course will incorporate current events.

Special Restrictions: If a student has taken Constitutional Law II with Prof. Corbin, they can enroll in this course for 2-credits only, but will be required to attend the course in full and complete the requirements as a 4-credit course. Students should contact the Office of the Registrar to do so at lawreg@law.miami.edu. Student who have taken Con Law II with another professor are able to take the course for 4 credits.
