LAW256  A  FIRST AMENDMENT

Course Description
This course focuses on the individual rights guaranteed by the First Amendment of the United States Constitution. In particular, we will cover free speech and the press in the first half of the course, and both religion clauses (free exercise and establishment) in the second half. We will also examine methods of interpreting the Constitution.
