LAW876  A  LITIGATION SKILLS II: CRIMINAL

Course Description
Litigation Skills II: Criminal Litigation, a three credit advanced litigation skills workshop is offered to students who have successfully completed Litigation Skills I . This course further emphasizes the techniques of criminal litigation and is specifically geared towards the needs and concerns of students who wish to become criminal litigators. The program examines all aspects of criminal litigation from the pretrial stage, including interviewing, case evaluation, the charging process through the trial phase covering advanced trial strategies, jury selection, opening statements, direct and cross examination, expert witnesses and closing arguments. NOTE: Class size limited to 12.
