First Class Assignment(s):
  • Assignment: Please read these articles included in the United States Constitution: Article III, Section 3, Article IV (entire); Article V (entire); Article VI (entire). See the Shanor casebook, pages xxxii -xxxiv. These articles have to do not so much with the government institutions the Constitution creates (see Articles I-III) -- rather the environment within which the Constitution and those institutions was being installed. Looked at closely, you might think, it looks like a complicated and rather unnerving world. We will talk in class about what we will take up going forward, and the obvious administrative matters.
