Course Description
Legal Malpractice Law will introduce students to lawyer malpractice and professional liability litigation, and the role of malpractice education and risk management training. The course will survey theories of lawyer and law firm liability, including negligence and breach of fiduciary duty, remedies and defenses to recovery, vicarious liability, prevention, and insurance.
