Course Description
An intensive study of the problems of the debtor and creditor under federal bankruptcy law. It will focus particularly on issues concerning the bankruptcy estate, the automatic stay, discharge in Chapter 7, the avoiding powers to the trustee, and reorganization in Chapter 11. The text will be supplemented with lectures on rules, procedures and recent cases as well as practical methods of dealing with the subject matter.
