A TOPICS IN FLORIDA PRACTICE

Course Description
|
This course provides students with a foundation of content and skills necessary to pass the Florida bar exam. Essay writing is the primary emphasis. Students will write essays and receive individual feedback. Subjects include: Florida Contracts, Florida Real Property, Florida Constitutional Law, and Professional Responsibility. This course is a 2-credit pass/fail course. This course is only open to third year law students and LLM students in their final semester. The required textbook for the course is purchased from BarBri for approximately $160. Details will be provided to students who enroll. Please note: This course is taught in conjunction with Topics on the Multistate Bar Exam (LAW551). Students who are taking the Florida bar exam are encouraged to take both courses, as they cover different components of the exam.
